Manage Playing Venues, Eliminate Double-Booking
GoLeague lets you register and manage all your playing grounds in one place. Add addresses, set unavailability dates, and assign home grounds to teams — so the automatic scheduler can build a conflict-free fixture list every time.
What’s included
Add Playing Venues
Register grounds with a name, postal address, and optional GPS coordinates for easy navigation by players and officials.
Google Maps Integration
Store a Google Maps Place ID for each ground so members can navigate directly from the app with one tap.
Availability Calendars
Mark specific dates when a venue is unavailable — public holidays, maintenance windows, or external bookings. The scheduler respects these dates automatically.
No Double-Booking
GoLeague's scheduling engine ensures no two matches are assigned to the same venue at the same time, across all divisions and groups in your league.
Home Ground Assignment
Each registered team declares a preferred home ground. The scheduler uses these preferences to produce fair and balanced fixture lists.
Venue Reuse Across Leagues
Venues registered in your organisation are available across multiple leagues. No need to re-enter ground details for each new competition.
Frequently Asked Questions
How do I add a playing venue in GoLeague?
Go to the Venues section in your organisation dashboard. Tap Add Ground and enter the venue name, address, and any additional details such as GPS coordinates or a Google Maps Place ID.
How do I mark a venue as unavailable on certain dates?
Open the venue in your dashboard and add unavailability dates to its calendar. The automatic scheduler will not book any matches at that ground on the blocked dates.
Can venues be shared across multiple leagues?
Yes. Venues are registered at the organisation level and are available for use across all leagues run by that organisation.
Does GoLeague prevent double-booking of grounds?
Yes. The constraint-based scheduler enforces that no two matches are assigned to the same venue at the same time, even when multiple divisions and groups are being scheduled simultaneously.
